[ Service brief ]  ·  Local SEO & business websites

Local search that
holds up over time.

Small-business websites and local-SEO programs that don’t chase tricks. Careful keyword work, Google Business Profile management, structured data, and content written for the people you’re trying to reach.

[ Approach ]  ·  how we work

Where we focus first.

Most local-SEO problems come down to a few areas that have been neglected for too long. We focus there first, then iterate.

[01]

Local keyword research

We map the queries customers actually type when they need what you do, and prioritise high-intent terms over volume traffic. The keyword set drives every page on the site, from service hubs to neighbourhood pages.

[02]

Google Business Profile

A Business Profile with consistent NAP, accurate categories, services and attributes, regular posts, and an automated review pipeline. The Business Profile drives roughly half of local-pack ranking, so we treat it as core work, not a one-off setup.

[03]

Topical authority & content

Service-category pages, neighbourhood pages, supporting blog posts, and structured data, written so search engines understand the business and customers can find what they're looking for quickly.

[ Case No. 01 ]  ·  Royal Glow Beauty & Esthetics
Boardman, Ohio · Beauty & spa · 2024

From no online presence to the Map Pack in ninety days.

Royal Glow opened in a competitive local beauty market without a website, reviews, or rankings on the searches that drive bookings. We built the site, mapped the keyword set, implemented LocalBusiness schema, and ran the program that put the studio in front of nearby customers.

Royal Glow ranking heatmap after SEO program
fig. 02 After: rank #1 to #2 across most of the Mahoning Valley grid, with a handful of #4 to #5 at the outer edges.

The challenge

A new spa launched without a website, reviews, or a Business Profile presence. Competitors had years of head start and review volume to work with.

The approach

  • Built a website on a static stack with conversion-focused pages.
  • Mapped local-intent queries: "facials Boardman Ohio", "eyebrow waxing near me", and adjacent neighbourhood queries.
  • Created service-category pages: waxing services, facials in Poland, Ohio, and others.
  • Built supporting content: skin-type guides, community-specific posts.
  • Implemented LocalBusiness schema, opened and tuned the Business Profile, set up a review pipeline.

The outcome

  • Map Pack appearance for primary service queries within the first quarter.
  • Steady week-over-week ranking improvement on target keywords.
  • Consistent inbound calls direct from organic and Business Profile.
  • Review profile growing alongside service volume.

[ Case No. 02 ]  ·  Bodhi Tree River Massage Therapy
Boardman, Ohio · Massage therapy · 2025

Site, Business Profile, schema, automated reviews.

An established Boardman practice with steady reviews but quiet local rankings. We rebuilt the website, took over the Business Profile, added LocalBusiness schema, and wired up an automated review-request pipeline. Three months after launch, average rank for "massage near me" dropped from 13.08 to 4.16, and "massage Boardman" went from 8.6 to 2.1, effectively rank #1 to #2 across the entire service area.

Bodhi Tree heatmap for 'massage near me' after — average rank 4.16

Bodhi Tree heatmap for 'massage Boardman' before — average rank 8.6

Bodhi Tree heatmap for 'massage Boardman' after — average rank 2.1
fig. 06 "Massage Boardman" after: avg 2.1, Map Pack edge to edge.

The challenge

Steady reviews and strong service quality, but the booking-intent queries were sitting on page two. Chains and franchise massage brands were eating local share, and the existing site and Business Profile weren’t pulling their weight.

The approach

  • Built the site on a static stack with conversion-focused pages.
  • Audited and rebuilt the Business Profile: categories, services, attributes, photos, NAP.
  • LocalBusiness and Service schema; on-page signals tuned for "massage near me" and "massage Boardman".
  • Automated post-visit review pipeline to keep review velocity steady.
  • Iterated weekly against 9×9 grid-rank data instead of single-point checks.

The outcome

  • "Massage near me" average rank: 13.08 → 4.16 (3.1× better).
  • "Massage Boardman" average rank: 8.6 → 2.1 (4× better).
  • Top-20 cells on the primary query: 53 → 60 of 81.
  • Map Pack saturation across the Mahoning Valley grid in three months.
